We are the North American division of Metrohm AG (Herisau, Switzerland), a global leader in high-precision laboratory instruments and solutions for chemical analysis. We’re currently seeking a Field Service Specialist to support our customers across, but not limited to, South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.

 

What You’ll Do

As a Metrohm Field Service Specialist, you’ll be the face of our Service team—providing technical support and on-site service that keeps our customers’ instruments running at peak performance.

  • Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop analytical systems.
  • Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams).
  • Manage a dynamic schedule across the territory.
  • Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver seamless customer experience.

 

What You Bring

  • BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing laboratory instrumentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the territory in the South Region.

Bonus Points For:

  • Previous experience traveling for field service work.
  • Familiarity with process-based applications.
  • Candidates with strong computer literacy and experience using common business or industry-specific software
